We are very excited to share that an exhibit built on the Pass It Down platform, "A Candid Look at COVID 19" was just shortlisted for the 2021 Best Use of Digital - International award by the Museums+Heritage Awards. Congrats to the History Center Lake Forest Lake Bluff and Carol Summerfield and their incredible curation and exhibit team on this big honor!

Museums + Heritage Awards celebrates the very best within museums, galleries and heritage visitor attractions. "2020 has been the year in which digital storytelling has come to the forefront, proving to be an essential tool for many organisations", stated the Museum + Heritage Awards. The focus of this award is not on the digitisation process itself, but on how organisations have used their online presence to take collections and stories to people in their homes. Examples might include streaming of live events, new digital experiences, commercial partnerships, online interactives, etc.

A key requirement of the entries was to demonstrate how they successfully altered their digitised offering to reach new audiences, in new and creative ways, as well as using those tools to enhance other activities such as commercial or learning.

We're pleased to be working with the History Center of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff and congratulate their entire team on creating this amazing digital exhibit with our Pass It Down platform. You're in great company when the other shortlist nominees include The Metropolitan Museum of Art , the National Museum of Korea, the British Council Singapore , National Museums Liverpool and National Heritage Board, and the Untitled Workers Club.
